Gather with Wildtender and Mercado Sagrado for a guided hike, plant meditation and picnic on the Big Sur coast. Guided by herbal educator Kelsey Barrett (of Heavy Nettle), together we will ascend a trail up the Santa Lucia Mountains, stopping along the way to learn the names, stories, and edible and medicinal uses of Big Sur’s native plants. We will slow down to connect with ourselves and the interdependent community of beings of the Big Sur wild. Meditate on the land while enjoying a wild herb tea, absorb the fragrance of Summer chaparral, and sit amongst the trees while sampling wild foods.
