Our journey begins beside a sparkling creek, in the cool shade of towering redwoods, centuries old.

Following a trail of modestly-graded switchbacks through this expansive grove, we will gradually rise above the canopy of the world’s tallest trees. Views of both forest and coastline are set against the gentle riparian soundtrack of flowing water and birdsong. This canyon also overflows with colorful stories of the early settlers and mid-century bohemians that populated the wild ridge to the north. Our trail ascends to wide-open meadowlands and one of the grandest views of the Pacific Ocean in all of Big Sur.
